The "Frog"was first introduced in 1938 and this new design is the third generation of vehicles. Beetles in 2012 has an additional six inches in length. In 1998, The NewBeetle is 168 inches long and is now wider by 3.3 inches and a total of 71.2 inches.
We can expect to see September and October the launch of the new Beetle in the U.S. market in October and November for the European launch, with the launch in February2012 in Asia.
Cylinders 5, 2.5-liter, 170 horsepower VW has exceeded, in global sales, the leaders,like General Motors Co. and Toyota Motor Corp. during the last few years. In 2010, forthe first time in history, VW sold more than 7 million vehicles.
With nearly 3% market share, which includes brands Audi, VW is still a smaller player,though the increase in U.S. sales.
In 2018, VW has set a U.S. sales goal 1 million vehicles - which will be 200,000 for Audiand 800,000 for the Volkswagen brand. 2010 U.S. sales of VW's major brands showedan increase by 20% to 257,000 kendaraan.Audi increase in 2010 was 23% to 102,000vehicles.
